First of all, I wanted to mainly write this update to explain my disapearance in the past week, and also the general inactivity that has occured ranging back for almost two weeks now.

I had reached a time in which I felt generally uninspired and did not have much motivation to do anything - record lable wise or any other interests of mine. I pretty much just went to work, came home, slept and than drank the rest of the day/night. Afterwards between May 10th - 13th , I went to Edmonton, AB, Canada to go to Paganfest, and in a way this was both a depressing experience and an extremely motivating one. To tell a bit of a story here...after the show I got to hang out and drink with members of Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Blackguard(Mtl. Canada), and Swashbuckle(NJ, USA) until 3:30 AM. We went to a bar in a couple blocks away from the venue and luckily enough it was 'Metal Mondays' (haha, don't ask me how but somehow whoever was picking the music snuck in a Micheal Jackson song as well)

Anyway, this is completely besides the point by now. I wanted to give my explanations for my lack of activity lately which is mainly that is has been a very reflective past couple of weeks for me, which I've spent a lot of time thinking about life and my plans, etc.etc.etc. and I think I have some of that under control now, so I do want to apologize for anyone who has been awaiting replies to their emails and messages. I will catch up on these ASAP (hopefully in the next day or two) and I think everything is back to normal here now...like I said, I have for the most part regained my motivation and am ready to get back to work 100%.

There is a lot of things coming up to work on and also a lot of exiting releases in the near future, as well as some big ideas and plans that I am in the process of trying to work out, which may or may not happen so I cannot promise anything. For sure though as time allows me to, I will be doing additions to the main website www.hypnoticdirgerecords.com and trying to add some more interesting features on there.
