The paragraph below is what will be written on the three year anniversary card. I wanted to make it available for everyone to read as opposed to only those who bought the 3 year anniversary pack. Here it is:
Over the past three years, Hypnotic Dirge Records has grown and evolved from a small label which was created with the intention of releasing a few albums in the ambient or depressive black metal style from close friends and acquaintances on short run CD-r format into what it is today. Never did I imagine at the time that the label would still be alive today, much less thriving with 20 official album releases through 2011, a sizable distribution section, merchandise, and an annual compilation album series among other things. Now with an artist roster reaching all areas of the world, and diversity in the sounds and inspiration of the artists within, it appears as if HDR has progressed nicely so far throughout its brief history. However, with that being said, our motivation and inspiration has remained unchanged and our main focus is still to release music and art which we feel is the most deserving of attention. Thank you very much for supporting Hypnotic Dirge Records and its artists over the past three years. Your attention towards the music we release is the only thing that keeps us able to release new music. We hope you will continue to find value in what we do.
In sickness and in hate.

Hi there, Skog! Busy Summer, isn't it? Last month you have signed two new acts and this month you have planned 3 new CDs for release...
Hells Skog, as the owner of one the most consistent and focused record labels I was wondering what motivated you to start a labe...
