Immensity records Candlemass Cover Song "Crystal Ball" for Tribute Album!

Immensity has recorded a Candlemass Cover song, namely "Crystal Ball" from the 1986 album "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus". The tribute to Candlemass is a six track album entitled "Hellenicus Doomicus Metallicus", released by Metal Hammer Greece for the 30th anniversary of this classic album!

ALBUM RELEASE: Immensity - The Isolation Splendour

After years of preparation, today marks the release of the debut album from this Greek Doom Band on Hypnotic Dirge Records and BadMoodMan Music! Almost 80 minutes of music is included on the album including their original 2012 Demo "The Lonely Aquarelle."

Intricate, melancholic, and melodic doom that will appeal to listeners of My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, early-Anathema. and Draconian among others is what you should expect to find on this album, so if you are a fan of early 90's doom, or gothic death-doom, check out the full stream on the Bandcamp link.

Those who pre-ordered the album will have their album shipped around April 1. The manufacturing and shipping of the album took a little bit longer than expected, but they should arrive here within a week! Sorry for the delay. (If it's any consolation, the Negative Voice pre-orders will ship earlier than its release date since both albums were manufactured together)

"The Isolation Splendour" features five brand new lengthy tracks and includes two tracks from “The Lonely Aquarelle” demo as bonus, so that the entire band discography will be included in this release.

Hypnotic Dirge Records and BadMoodMan Music presents the debut album entitled “The Isolation Splendour” from the Greek doomsters “Immensity” Active since 2009, Immensity is a six-piece atmospheric death-doom band from Athens. Since their founding, they have played many shows and in 2012 released the demo “The Lonely Aquarelle” which received favourable feedback including the honour of being named #1 new band in the Clandestine Cut of the Year in Metal Storm Webzine.

A mature sound emanates from the memorable melodies and captivating atmosphere present in “The Isolation Splendour” combining the essential feeling of early 90’s doom metal such as early-Paradise Lost, and My Dying Bride while also providing the melancholic gothic-tinge of bands such as Draconian or The Foreshadowing. filling a thick wall of sound soaked in melancholy and grief. Immensity’s genius is not necessarily in incorporating sludgy, slow, or depressive elements but more in crafting grandiose and memorable hooks contrasted by relatively heavy and deep doom.

“The Isolation Splendour” features five brand new monolithic tracks, and also includes the two tracks from “The Lonely Aquarelle” demo so that the entire Immensity discography will be represented together. BAND SIGNING / RELEASE NEWS: Greek doomsters “Immensity” signs with Hypnotic Dirge Records / Solitude Productions for release of debut album “The Isolation Splendour”

Hypnotic Dirge Records and Solitude Productions has come to an agreement with the Greek doomsters “Immensity” to release their debut album “The Isolation Splendour” on CD format in early 2016! Active since 2009, Immensity is a six-piece atmospheric death-doom band from Athens founded by Andreas Kelekis, and rounded out by five other highly competent musicians. Since their founding, they have played many shows and in 2012 released the demo “The Lonely Aquarelle” which received favourable feedback including the honour of being named #1 new band in the Clandestine Cut of the Year in Metal Storm Webzine.

Since that time, they have been busy perfecting their debut full-length “The Isolation Splendour” for an official release. Advance promotional copies were distributed in the spring of 2015 to labels and webzines, but since then, the album has been re-mixed to further improve the sound and within months it will finally be officially released!

“The Isolation Splendour” will feature five brand new lengthy tracks for a runtime of around 48 minutes, and will also include the two tracks from “The Lonely Aquarelle” demo so that the entire band discography will be included. In total, the runtime will be approximately 68 minutes so expect a comprehensive slab of atmospheric and melodic death-doom that will appeal to fans of old school and traditional death-doom in the vein of My Dying Bride, and early-Paradise Lost as well as The Gathering, Novembers Doom, Daylight Dies, and Ahab.

Regarding the signing, the band comments:
