UPCOMING RELEASE: Epitimia - Тяготение

Long-time followers of Hypnotic Dirge will remember Epitimia, the Russian post-black metal band we collaborated with in the label’s early years.

Founded in 2008 in Saint Petersburg, Epitimia has released six full-length albums, including Faces of Insanity(2012) and the ambitious double-album (Un)reality (2014) on Hypnotic Dirge. This September, the band returns with the two-track EP Тяготение (Atraction), their first new recording since 2020’s Allusion. Clocking in at under 20 minutes, the release offers a concise introduction to Epitimia’s current sound and serves as a precursor to a full-length album planned for 2027. "Тяготение" will be available on CD and digital formats via Hypnotic Dirge on September 4. With only two tracks, we will not be releasing advance singles nor pre-orders but instead share brief teaser clips leading up to the full release on September 4.
