For those who don't know Frigoris, they are a German Pagan/Black Metal and they will be releasing their new album on the 7th of June through Hypnotic Dirge Records. This album is really furious, really heavy too maybe, even though still very melodic and with a lot of acoustic instruments especially in the intros of the songs.
After the introduction every song keeps their melody but all songs are really fast, really very old school Black Metal stuff. The band formed in 2007, but even being a relatively recent band they already show us a lot of professionalism in what they do. They sound very unite and there is a special complicity between every instrument and every part of every music.
The voice is typically Black Metalish too, always singing in German, pretty understandable. You can also hear a female clean voice at times.
Wind is such a perfect, beautiful and strong album that it makes your skin crawl. Very emotional, making all your feelings come out, good and bad feelings, as they mix perfectly the aggressiveness with the painful melodic tones and tunes. Really a very good experience, memorable journey.
Really, one of the best albums of 2013 for Lachryma Christi. Highly recommended. Go for it. 4 days left now, not too long to wait.
Also always good to mention, amazing cover.
