ALBUM RELEASE: Forlesen - Hierophant Violent
April 18, 2020Today we release the debut album from Forlesen, entitled "Hierophant Violent", a sombre and reflective procession apt for our apocalyptic reality.
Since the launch of the abridged version of the advance track "Nightbridge", we have been in eager anticipation of this date, where we finally get to share the entire piece, in full, as intended.
This is an album that should be experienced late at night with quality headphones and an attentive mind so that is the reason for the midnight launch. If you live outside North America, I advise you to wait until tomorrow evening before delving in!
Additionally, "Nightbridge" now has accompanying visuals for the entire 18 minute track. Not a music video per se, but rather an abstract short film that builds on the narrative from the abridged version. Still, it is recommended to listen to the first track "Following Light" beforehand so you can hear the album in the proper order.
As always, the album is available to stream in full on Bandcamp, Youtube, Spotify, and other digital platforms. The purchase price for the digital album has been lowered to a $0.00 minimum price as usual upon an album's release, so we hope you download the album as well, so you can listen to it in Lossless audio quality.
Due to COVID-19, we need to be a bit flexible with the physical merch. Many CD pre-orders have already been shipped out and merch bundles and shirts will begin to ship early next week as well.
Unfortunately, there are significant postal restrictions at the moment which limits the countries we are able to ship to, but orders within Canada, and to the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and a few others are still being shipped. Orders from countries with postal restrictions are being packed and kept safe here until restrictions are lifted.
