Frigoris’ new album “Nur ein Moment…” is almost upon us! After the release of “Wind” in 2013, Atmospheric Post-Black Metal band Frigoris began to work on an ambitious concept album which was originally planned for one album, but had to be extended into two albums, the first of which - “Nur ein Moment…” is being released on August 25 on Hypnotic Dirge Records!
You can now pre-order the album on our webshop for the usual $10 CDN + shipping.
The album is presented in a 4 panel digipack with a 12 page booklet which includes the lyrics (in German) and an introduction (in both German and English). A Frigoris sticker is also included for the first 150 orders or so! The albums arrived here last week so therefore your pre-order will ship around August 10-15 and you should receive the album on or before the release date!
For those who prefer it, there is also a digital pre-order option on Bandcamp.
Those who may still want a copy of Frigoris’ previous album “Wind” on CD should know that as of today, there are only 11 copies left in stock.
A few weeks ago, we released the track “Trúwen” from the new album, the track which follows the encounter with trust in the mind of the protagonist. Now, streaming on Transcending Obscurity Webzine is the track “Himeros”, the track that in the lyrical concept of the album follows the encounter with yearning for our protagonist. If you want to take in a glimpse of the album’s theme you should actually listen to Himeros first and then Trúwen which together encompass Chapter 1 in the story.
Transcending Obscurity Webzine also has an interview with Frigoris published together with the Himeros stream, which goes a little deeper on the album’s theme, the song titles’ connection with personifications of distinct feelings and morals, the recording process, album art, possible vinyl releases, among other topics!
