Last week, No Clean Singing premiered a track from Nachtterror's side of the "Of Ash and Dying Light" split record and now this week it's Altars of Grief's turn! No Clean Singing is premiering the track "In Dying Light" from Altars of Grief' side, giving you an opportunity to finally hear a track from both bands on this split album!
We are currently accepting pre-orders for the limited 10" split record between Nachtterror and Altars of Grief. "Of Ash and Dying Light" is being released in an edition of 300 copies, 100 of which will be available from the Hypnotic Dirge webshop!
During pre-orders, the album is available for a discounted price of $12CDN + shipping, and the record also comes with download-only bonus songs, and two 11cm x 7cm Nachtterror and Altars of Grief logo stickers!

The music is a hymn to the beauty found in loss, and it pierces straight and true, with gripping emotional resonance. It hits hard with weighty doom riffs and a building atmosphere of sorrow and wistful remembrance, but there’s a transcendent quality to the music as well — the kind of song that leads you to hit “play” again and again, without even thinking about it. It leaves a haunting memory that won’t let go — but the memory alone isn’t sufficiently satisfying. At least in my case, it’s merely the lure that brings me back to the song, which I think will never wear out its welcome.
I hate to be obnoxious, but I’ll risk it: Unlike most of you, I’ve heard this entire split, and man, it’s tremendously good.
