GENERAL UPDATE
October 26, 2023Over the past couple of weeks, we've received a lot of demos from people inquiring about joining the label and replacing some of the bands that we've recently dropped. Rest assured that we will find the time to listen to every demo in November and try to respond back to as many of them as possible!
Despite talk of restructuring a lot of things when first relocating to Portugal a few months ago, there are still a lot of things to do on the backend and we've learned a lot of lessons this year about operating two stores (plus Bandcamp and Discogs) and managing stock in two locations, as well as all the shipping and customs dilemmas that come with that.
It has no doubt been a challenging year as a result, and we recognize that orders haven't been shipping out as quickly as we'd like and some promotion on our recent releases have also suffered as a result. Therefore we're taking a bit of time right now to organize everything, try to streamline some processes, and also hope to be able to offer cheaper shipping starting in 2024 as well! There are many things going on in the background right now, though we only have one new release planned for the rest of this year ( @stroszek_i - preorders begin this Friday!)
So things will be a bit quieter for the next few weeks in order to make things more efficient moving forward!
In the meantime, we hope that you'll take some time to listen to the albums we've already put out this year ( Orphans of Dusk, Inherus, NONE, Urbain, Claret Ash, Subterranean Disposition, Kings Rot, Notturno)
We have a big distro sale planned for November as we hope to clear out our distro COMPLETELY!
Some notes on vinyl:
-NONE vinyl have of course arrived in Canada. The goal is to have ALL orders out by next Friday!
-Urbain and Notturno vinyl are right on schedule. Just got word yesterday that they should arrive here in 3-4 weeks and all orders will ship directy from Portugal to avoid delays.
-Claret Ash vinyl is slightly delayed. We're about 6 weeks away, so hopefully we will receive those and ship out all orders before the holidays!
